Center for Chinese Language and Culture initiated a programme called „Heading to the East“ which could help the young experience the Chinese culture and learn the Chinese language for free. We are making this project happen alongside with our associates and fellow organisations from China. If you want to meet the astonishing Chinese culture, this is the right place for you.
The aim of this project is to give the young people a chance to learn Chinese language and get to know more than 5,000 years old Chinese culture.
The Government of People’s Republic of China created a special program which enables young people from all over the world to come to China, where they get free accommodation and food, and also a pocket money.
You will be staying with a Chinese family, so there are no expenses for accommodation and food, and your only obligation is to look after the youngest members of the family, spend time with them and speak with them English language.
You are not allowed to have any additional jobs, while you are participating in this program!
Here are some application requirements:
- Candidates aged 20-30
- Secondary school or college/university completed
- High level of English
- No criminal record
- Motivated people who are interested in Chinese culture
- People who like working with children
- You can stay in China for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months
For our applicants, we have provided:
- Reception at the airport
- Orientation training upon arrival
- Free accommodation with a Chinese family
- Free food, three meals per day
- Free Mandarin language course
- Minimum 150$ pocket money per month
- After finishing this program, you get a bonus which can cover your expenses for your return flight ticket (partly or even in total), depending on the duration of your stay in China
- 24-hour support in China
